WEIRD RULES MET GALA 2021 MUST FOLLOW

 Hi My Angels,

This year Met Gala 2021 which occurred on 13 September ,2021 is still a topic of the town .Everyone is talking about glamorous, Glittery outfits of the celebrities whether its Rihanna ,Kim Kardishian ,Kendall Jenner , Gigi Hadid

Well, the annual event, which was cancelled last year due to the pandemic, will have a mask mandate enforced, as well as a vaccine requirement.

 all attendees at The Met Gala on September 13 must provide proof of full vaccination and will also be expected to wear masks indoors except when eating or drinking,”

But Do you Know ? There were certain rules which every guest needs to follow for this Met Gala from age restriction to ban on selfies ..Yes, you read right selfies and some other rules here are few unexpected Guidelines or rules put into place at the Met Gala.

1. NO SMOKING INSIDE THE MUSEUM:


In 2017 , Famous Celebrities including Bella Hadid, Dakota Johnson and Marc Jacobs were pictured smoking cigarettes in the bathroom at the Met Gala.

 so that same year board member and donors of the event had expressed their dismay over smoking at the event , by saying it was " disrespectful to the art collection".


2. NO UNDER 18 ALLOWED:

This mean High profiles under18 not allowed to attend Met Gala 2021.Maddie Ziegler 16 year old model and dancer asked by The  Hollywood Reporter whether she would be a attending converted Met Gala Red Carpet and her reply was " I can't go , because I'm not old enough .This restriction introduced because of 2018 Met Gala theme : Heavenly Bodies : Fashion and Catholic Imagination .Spokesperson from event confirmed " it's not an appropriate event for people under 18"


3. NO ONION AND PARSLEY IN  THE MENU:

As per The New York Post ,few food  items were purposely omitted from the menu at the request of Wintour herself . Persley is banned to avoid the risk of herb getting stuck in guests teeth. Neither Onion or Garlic is served at the event so as to avoid any bouts of bad breaths. Bruschetta isn't offered to guests in case of any food spillages on extravagant ensembles .

In 2016 if you remember Model Karlie Kloss had her floor length Met Gala gown cut into mini dress for after party because red wine spill on the white fabric.


4.NO SELFIES:  


No selfies please, however in 2015, It was reported that use of social media had been banned from the event, in order to clamp down on celebrities spending the  majority of the evening on their phones .The use of phone for photography were not allowed in side the Met Gala.

5. SITTING ARRAANGEMENTS :

Wintour is very particular about where her guest sit on the night of the event.

According to ward Durrett , Spouses are never seated next to each other." The whole point of these sitting arrangements were meet new people, to be interested in what others are doing. "What's the point if you come here to hangout with your husband ?" She said.






According to The New York Times,last year’s tickets cost $30,000 a piece, and $275,000 for a table . That means getting an invitation is considered a high honor, so you better not turn it down. According to Page Six, attendees have heard of people who “decided not to go one year because they weren’t around or didn’t like the theme,” and were never invited back (unless they were, like, Rihanna or something).

Behavior Changes During Pandemic

 Hi My Angels,

The Covid -19 Pandemic has changed our life 180 degree up and down by staying at home, which may imparted on our health in positive way and negative way. Now days We all live in a atmosphere where we all scared to go outside, avoiding all crowds , that's the main point of our life's in this time period of pandemic our safety and security .

It seems natural that people are more prone to anxiety, depression and fear when facing unknown things or disease. The more worried people are the more anxious they become. This Covid-19  is changing our life we travel, shop, work, communicate and more but what you think which new habits are likely to stick permanently ? Today I am going to explore few psychological behavior changes during this pandemic. 

1.Travelling Behavior:

Everyone is scared to travel in this time of Pandemic, Social Distancing, Quarantine. Those days are gone when everybody was travelling here and there without any fear. We all are afraid to travel  in public Transports ,We are scared of physical contact with anonymous. 

2. Indoor Stay Behavior:

Stay Home and Social distancing is a new part of our daily life from last year when this covid-19 started.

Because of staying home for long period of times some are facing some kind of phobia's e.g.

(a) Agoraphobia: Fear of Open spaces or crowds

(b) Anthrophobia : Fear of People or Society

(c) Aphenphosmphobia: Fear of Being Touched

(d) Haphephobia: Fear of Touch

(e) HypochondriaFear of Illness

(f) Xenophobia: Fear of Strangers or Foreigners

people are scared of going out, meeting people, afraid of illness, frighten of strangers so many behavior changes are happening these days to be honest I am one of them who is facing few of the above said phobias.

3.Close Contact Behavior:

Strange behaviors everyone is facing these days as a result of this Social Isolation, Social Distancing, Lockdown, Pandemic seriously I can't believe we all are getting little emotionless , feeling less e.g: If some one dies with any of the reason even except Corona ,Funerals are the most difficult time for the family of deceased. The best way to support such family is helping hand and encouragement.

  But people don't want to go on funerals, because they are scared of this pandemic and covid-19 . Any other social family gatherings people are avoiding with fear of this severe illness. We all are panicky with thought of someone contact us.

4. Employee/ Employer Behavior:

In these pandemic waves with lockdowns employees and employer are aware of mental stress can significantly impact on their health and behavior. The employer have fear of business losses and employees have fear of getting fired any time from their jobs.

Because everyone have some sort of responsibilities on them to fulfill at every start of the month. Some certain expenditure which you can't avoid is the  need to pay on time so all of this is impacting huge behavior changes in employee and employer.

Positive Side:

We need to pay more attention to public psychological stress, specially young generation, as they are likely to experience anxiety, depression and psychological abnormalities. The waves of this Pandemic in which lockdown measures are relaxed and imposed are likely to increase everyone's sense of insecurity. Now lets talk about few positive things about all of this pandemic :

1.Increased Digital Adoption:

People are shifting digital platform for daily life routine as they use digital platform in their life and business to stay connected in a words that is physical disconnection.

Although I believe increasing use of digital tools is blurring the lines between work, lifestyle and social interaction but some how some where it saved many people to get unemployed, to get out of touch of their loved ones to whom they can't meet but they can stay connected through these digital platforms where they can see each other and feel relaxed.

2. Purchasing Behavior:

Everyone is more into value based purchasing and online purchasing which is nice for people in this time of pandemic when unnecessary expenditure is not required ,everyone is stick to basic needs of their life.


3.Increase Awareness of Health:

We were never ever be this much conscious about our health before, it's all because of this  period of time in which we really realized  health is most important, wearing masks, increased hygiene , healthy eating's, avoiding junk food.

4.New Talents :

 It's been a perfect time for people to learn new habits or new hobbies which can really help them to stand alone in a crowd. In this period of time people really are into start their own new small businesses or they are turning their hobbies into earning by sitting at home.

 Lots of people who got fired became entrepreneurs with their own hidden talents which they never discovered or noticed until this time of pandemic when they have no job in their hands.



So I am summing up with the thought in coming days everything will be normal again and we will stick to some positive good habits and learn to live with most important things in our life, count our blessings.

SKIN CARE ROUTINE IN PANDEMIC SHOULD FOLLOW

When last year whole world went into Lockdown and this Pandemic has changed our life in every aspect and continued to this year 2021,These days Staying Home and Social Distancing is part of our daily routine. We all are furious , anxious , worried and got panic in our daily  life's routine, we all are in a situation where we can not go outside and because of this we all are loosing interest in our skin care routine which really  needs to be considered in these days.

  If your skin is dry from all your crying and  have dark circle from sleepless nights the silver lining to all of this is that we'll be all skin scholars by the time this pandemic over and trust me follow below mentioned steps to take care of your skin in this  pandemic and thanks me later .

1. Face Masking:

Whenever we go outside,we all are bound to wear face mask for our safety side, so because of wearing face mask  problems can be causes acne, friction dermatitis and dry skin. First of all try for breathable silk or cotton  fabric Face Mask with double layer of protection and should be sterile and not to be touched continuously. Whenever you come home clean your face and apply generous amount of moisturizer and always wash your cotton masks and dry in sun light.

 When wearing face mask on your face always try to go with no makeup because  makeup products can clog our pores and can cause acne and other skin related issues so try to follow  the simple CTM and wear mask than go outside if necessary.

2. Exfoliate :

We really need to exfoliate our skin once in a week to get a flawless glowy skin. The science behind this exfoliation is due to this pandemic and lockdown's our skin is getting dry ,lifeless and losing its charm so for that we really need to exfoliate with mild scrub to get a flawless skin which can give you confidence while staying at home.

3.Face Massage:

Time to time like once in week or once in 15 days you need to massage your face with rich moisturizer, massage cream or Any face oil (whichever is available ) you can use coconut oil too which I have explained in my last article thoroughly. You can start massage with any cream or oil after cleansing your face gently  in upward motions for 5-10 minutes.

This can help your skin to absorb as much as required hydration in this current pandemic as we are facing lifeless ,dry skin so here's the solution .

4.Drink Water:

Drink at least 1-2 litter water per day,  trust me your skin will say thank you for this trick because this much of water will easily flush out any toxins and impurities from your body and lower the chances of flu.

 This will help in dry skin condition too because sometimes dry skin is a sign of dehydration so whenever get time drink water by sip sip method whole day ,you will notice visible results with glowing skin.


5.Green Vegetables And Fruits:

Doctors and Ayurveda it self saying during Covid you should consume as many as vegetables and fruits because fruits and vegetables including leafy vegetables like, Spinach, kale or lettuce  help keep the body's immune system working properly.

Basically the food you eat key aspect in determine your overall health and immune system .These green vegetable and fruits have so many health benefits including great skin and hair so start including it in your daily life ,in the form of soup or salad.

6.Limit the Exposure of Phone's :

Yes, you read correct limit the exposure to phone because the blue waves from these phones and electric devices are harmful for our skin. These exposures can shrunken the skin cells.

These can speed up the aging process so try to limit the exposure to phone blue waves (light) 


7.Sleep:

Have you remember "Sleeping Beauty" ? yes, beauties we really need to have at least 8 hours of sleep,in this particular sleeping time our damaged skin cells rebuilt which is necessary for our youthful skin and 7-8 hours sleep helps in building immune system too.

Lack of sleep will leave you tired and impair your brain activity.So never ever compromise on your beauty sleep.


8. Exercise/Yoga:

In current period of Pandemic time if you cant go out for exercise or walk than you can do yoga at home with so many yoga videos available on Youtube practice breathing exercises at least for 30 minutes daily .

This Yoga or Exercise for 30 minutes daily practice will help in immune boosting and helps in releasing the toxins from the body.
