Today's review is about yet another product from Maybelline—yes, Maybelline again! 😄 I often repurchase their products because many of them have worked well for me over the years. As always, this review is based entirely on my personal experience after purchasing and using the product myself. My goal is simply to share my honest opinion and help you decide whether it's worth trying.
The product I'm reviewing today is the Maybelline Fashion Duo Brow Shaper (Brow Define & Fill Duo by EyeStudio™) in Soft Brown.
No matter how beautiful your eye makeup is, well-groomed eyebrows can make a huge difference to your overall look. They frame the face and instantly make your makeup appear more polished and defined. In India, however, there are still relatively few affordable eyebrow products available compared to other makeup categories.
If you're just starting your makeup journey, this brow duo is a great beginner-friendly option. It's easy to use and much more forgiving than many high-end brow products. Beginners often find it difficult to achieve natural-looking brows and may accidentally overfill them, but this brow shaper makes it easier to create soft, well-defined eyebrows without looking too harsh.

MY OBSERVATIONS:
I really like the concept of having both a brow pencil and a brow-filling powder in a single product. It is available in a few different shades, and I chose the Soft Brown shade, which matches my brows well.
One end features a retractable brow pencil that twists up easily. Since the pencil has a very soft texture, it's best to twist out only a small amount at a time to prevent it from breaking. The fine tip helps create natural-looking strokes and define the shape of the brows with precision.
The other end has a soft sponge-tip applicator infused with brow powder, which smoothly fills in sparse areas without creating harsh lines or an unnatural appearance. The powder is lightly pigmented, making it easy to build up the color gradually and achieve soft, natural-looking brows instead of overly dark or heavy ones.

Both ends of the brow shaper are protected with caps. The powder applicator side has a brown-colored cap that indicates the shade of the product, making it easy to identify if you own multiple shades.
For the best results, first use the pencil end to define your eyebrows with light, short strokes that mimic natural brow hairs. Then use the sponge-tip powder applicator to fill in any sparse areas, creating fuller yet natural-looking brows.
The staying power is impressive, lasting for over 10 hours without smudging or fading significantly. I also like that it doesn't make the eyebrows look overly dramatic or harsh. Instead, it gives them a soft, well-defined, and naturally groomed appearance.
One thing to keep in mind is that the pencil has a very soft formula. While its ultra-fine tip makes it easy to create precise, hair-like strokes, it is also quite delicate and can break easily if you twist out too much product or apply too much pressure. Using a gentle hand and extending only a small amount of the pencil at a time helps prevent breakage.

WHAT I DON'T LIKE ABOUT THE PRODUCT:

- Available in only a limited number of shades, which may not suit all eyebrow colors.
