SUGAR ALL SET TRANSLUCENT POWDER REVIEW

Hi My Angels,

We all love to look flawless with our makeup at any party or function. But sometimes, despite using expensive products and putting in all that effort, makeup just doesn't stay put — it creases into fine lines and ruins the look we worked so hard for. That's where a good translucent powder comes in, helping keep your makeup crease-free and long-lasting.

Today, I'm reviewing a product that's become a staple in my makeup routine — the Sugar All Set To Go Translucent Powder. I've been using it for so long now that I'm already on my second jar. If you'd like to know more about my experience with it, keep reading!

How to use: Make sure the puff is evenly saturated by massaging the powder into it and tapping any excess off. Next, keep the puff folded in half, and press and roll it into skin—this ensures that you’re not moving your foundation or concealer out of place. Wait for a few seconds and dust off with a brush. Avoid rubbing it against your skin and pay special attention to oily areas of the face.

Product Packaging:

I really love how Sugar's All Set Translucent Powder is packaged. It comes in a sturdy square compact, wrapped in a pretty outer box that lists all the essential details right on it — no digging around for ingredients or usage info.

Inside, there's a square puff sitting right on top of the sifter, which honestly makes a big difference when you're traveling. It keeps the powder pressed down so you don't get that annoying poof of powder in your face every time you open it up. And as a nice little bonus, there's a built-in mirror in the compact too — such a small thing, but I really appreciate having it for quick touch-ups on the go.

Texture:

The powder itself is super finely milled — so light that it just melts into the skin without leaving behind that dreaded white cast or ashy finish. I've also noticed it does a nice job of blurring out the look of my pores, which is always a win. And the fact that it's completely scentless? Huge plus for me — I really can't stand heavily fragranced powders.

My Experience with Sugar All Set To Go Translucent Powder:

With summer just around the corner, and India's humidity being what it is, our makeup doesn't always stand a chance — it tends to melt or shift within hours. But this powder has genuinely helped my makeup last so much longer, even in this weather. I love how it controls oil on my face and gives that perfect matte summer finish.

I've paired it with quite a few foundations over time — earlier I used it with the Huda Beauty Faux Filter Full Coverage Foundation, and I've also tried it with the Clinique Even Better Makeup Foundation SPF 15 and the MAC Pro Longwear Nourishing Waterproof Foundation. It worked beautifully with every single one, which really speaks to how versatile this powder is.

The best part, though, is that it's completely colorless, so there's zero risk of a whitish cast — which makes it ideal for flash photography too. And since it's odorless with absolutely no added fragrance, it's a dream for anyone like me who prefers their makeup fragrance-free.

Here's a quick tip: after applying your concealer, just dust a little of this powder under your eyes to keep that area completely crease-free. You can do the same on any part of your face where you notice fine lines or worry about makeup settling in over time. Just set it with this translucent powder, and you'll be amazed at the results — smooth, crease-free makeup that genuinely holds up for hours.

Especially in summer, oily skin is such a common struggle, but this powder genuinely works like magic to control that shine and keep your makeup looking matte all day.

As for application, you can use either the puff that comes with the jar or a brush — both work well. But personally, I always reach for the puff that's included, since I find it gives the most even, effortless application.

Pros:

  • Controls facial oil effectively
  • Leaves no white cast
  • Completely fragrance-free
  • Colorless formula
  • Travel-friendly packaging
  • Finely milled texture

Cons:

  • None so far — this one's been a solid win for me!

 RECOMMENDATIONS:

Honestly, at this price point, I don't think you'll find a better translucent powder out there. It's perfect for setting your makeup and keeping it in place for hours on end.

RATING:

4.7/5
