BBLUNT ONE NIGHT STAND TEMPORARY HAIR COLOURS SWATCHES AND REVIEW

Hi My Angels,

Today, I’m going to share my observations and experience with the launch of BBlunt One Night Stand Temporary Hair Colours. First of all, I really like the name “One Night Stand.” Since I love experimenting with my hair and trying out new looks, I couldn’t resist giving these shades a try. And the name itself perfectly suggests what these colours are all about — a fun, temporary pop of colour that is meant to last for just a short while.

MY OBSERVATIONS:

These hair colours are available in five different shades:

  • Blue Velvet

  • Bronze

  • Copper

  • Blush Pink

  • Emerald Green

I chose three shades to try: Blue Velvet, Bronze, and Blush Pink.

As the name “One Night Stand” suggests, these are temporary hair colours designed to give your hair a fun pop of colour for a party, function, or special occasion. They are a great option if you don't want to commit to permanent hair colour, which can be expensive and may require more maintenance. The colours come in small, lightweight metal bottles, making them easy to carry and travel-friendly.

Blue Velvet

This is a beautiful royal-blue shade. You need around 3–4 sprays to get a noticeable colour payoff on the hair. I think it looks particularly good with jeans or outfits that have a blue tint or similar cool-toned shades.

Bronze

Bronze is my favourite shade. It looks especially beautiful when applied to individual hair streaks, giving them a gorgeous golden, shimmery effect. The best part is that it can work with almost any outfit or colour, making it a very versatile shade.

Blushy Pink:

This is a very prominent, eye-catching shade that can be noticed from a distance. It works best with outfits that have a contrasting colour or a hint of pink.

As for the after-effect, once the colour is applied, I usually just let my hair dry naturally. However, this time my hair became quite stiff, dry, and rough. I ended up applying hair serum to soften it and using a little hair shine spray to bring back a more natural-looking shine.

Overall, I found the results to be average. The biggest issue is that you don't have much control over the spray. If you want to colour only a particular section or streak, you can end up wasting quite a lot of product, while some of the colour may land on other areas of the hair as well. Since the colour comes out as a spray, it can be difficult to apply it precisely.

The product is affordable, but if you want the colour to look clearly visible on your hair, one or two sprays aren't enough. I needed around 5–6 sprays to get a noticeable effect. After applying it, comb your hair properly before leaving it to dry so that any excess colour can be removed. I would also recommend waiting around 5–6 minutes for the hair to dry completely.

These are temporary hair colours, so they wash out very easily. In my experience, the colour can be removed with just one wash.
